About the Pinchot Institute for Conservation

The Pinchot Institute for Conservation provides administrative and management assistance for the implementation of the Common Waters Fund. The mission of the Pinchot Institute is to advance conservation and sustainable natural resource management by developing innovative, practical, and broadly-supported solutions to conservation challenges and opportunities.

The Pinchot Institute strengthens forest conservation thought, policy and action by:
1) advancing sustainable forest management;
2) developing conservation leaders; and,
3) providing science-based solutions to emerging natural resource issues.
